Metal I Studs

The Arrow I Stud system has been specially designed to offer a lightweight, non-loadbearing, easy to erect an drobust partitioning and shaftwall system.The I Stud system consists of vertical metal studs, fitted in ceiling and floor channels designed to accept plasterboard to BS1230 Pt1 - 1985.

Construction

Arrow Shaftwall I Stud system provides lightweight, fire resistant structure to protect elements within the service cores of modern fast-track development as well as all forms of shafts, stair-wells and ducts in conventional buildings. They provide a protecting structure which can be incorporated at an early stage of the building contract.

BS 2989: 1982 Specification for continuously hot-dip zinc coated and iron-zinc alloy coated steel.
BS 2994: 1976 Specification for cold rolled steel sections.
BS 364: 1990 Specification for galvanising steel studs and channels for stud and sheet partitions and linings using screw fixed gypsum wallboards.
